This year, the Women of Distinction Awards and the Inspirationnelle Award will be presented at a unique event aimed at promoting women’s ambition and supporting the mission of the YWCA Montreal.

Since 1994, the Women of Distinction Awards recognize the role of women in the advancement of society by bringing women to light who, through their commitment and achievements in their respective fields, have a positive and lasting impact in the society.

The award is unique, particularly because of the diversity of its recipients. Over the past 28 years, 322 exceptional women and three men have received this award with pride in their respective categories.

In 2015, Inspirationnelle was established to complement the Women of Distinction Awards to honour young women from various sectors.

The Women of Distinction Awards and Inspirationnelle aim to support the YWCA Montreal’s mission, whose mission is to build a better future for women and girls.

Our vision: an inclusive and egalitarian society where women and girls have the power to reach their full potential.
