Dr. Christine Pacheco is a cardiologist at the Pierre-Boucher hospital and an associate member of the University of Montreal Health Center (CHUM).
After earning her medical degree and completing internal medicine and cardiology training at Université de Montréal, she successfully complete a fellowship in Women’s Heart Health at the Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute in Los Angeles, where she gained extensive clinical and research experience in cardiovascular diseases primarily affecting women. She has published research in several peer-reviewed journals and been an invited speaker at Canadian and international conferences.
She sits on the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Alliance as co-chair of the Knowledge Translation and Transfer Committee and on the provincial branch of the Heart and Stroke Foundation. She is also a founding member of Cardio F, the first clinic and integrated center for women’s cardiovascular health in Quebec.
She is actively involved in community activities aimed at raising awareness on women’s cardiovascular health, through publications, interviews and panel discussions across a number of media.
