Ginger Le Pêcheur

Inspirationnelle Award 2023

Arts, Culture and Design

Film Director and Vice-President of Réalisatrices Équitables, Ginger Le Pêcheur anchored her career in exploring collective experiences and applying intersectional feminist approach to all her endeavors. Her first short film Reste (2022) gained recognition at the Regard sur le court métrage du Saguenay Festival and continued its journey, notably being featured at the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF). In addition to leading a writing workshop for up-and-coming female directors, she is also a conference speaker, raising awareness about the impact of representations in cinema. Through her commitment to various projects, she continuously strives to make the industry more inclusive.
