The Scotiabank Charity Challenge is a race (5 k, 5 k with stroller, and 21 k) organized by Canada Running Series that enables groups to form a team of runners, and benefit from CRS’ logistical support to raise money through a sports challenge. The YWCA Foundation has held this fundraising event since 2010 to build a better future for women and girls.

The 50 runners in YWCA Montreal team raised a total of $26 224 for the 2017 Scotiabank Challenge! This means $26 224 in additional funds to support YWCA Montreal, an organization which, since 1875, has dedicated itself to the prevention of violence, and the development of the skills, self-esteem, autonomy, and potential of women and girls through programs adapted to their needs.

The 52 runners in YWCA Montreal team surpassed their goal of $42,000 by raising a total of $49,350 for the 2015 Scotiabank Challenge! This means $49,350 in additional funds to support YWCA Montréal, a group which, since 1875, has dedicated itself to the prevention of violence, and the development of the skills, self-esteem, autonomy, and potential of women and girls through programs adapted to their needs.

The 42 runners making up the team of YWCA Montreal proudly braved the glacial weather to participate in the fifth edition of the Scotiabank Charity Challenge. Their efforts netted $41,200 to finance YWCA Montréal services.

2013 Scotiabank Charity Challenge
Under the sun on Sunday April 28th, the 33 athletes of the Women’s Y Foundation Team participated in the Scotiabank Charity Challenge for the fourth consecutive year.
